In a context of accelerated change, understanding young talent is essential to anticipating the future of work in Portugal. This white paper analyses the skills, cognitive potential and readiness of 610 young Portuguese people, using the Job-Focused Assessment and comparing the results with an international benchmark.

The study identifies strengths, critical areas for development and factors that influence young people's intention to stay or emigrate. More than a statistical portrait, this work offers practical clues for schools, companies and decision-makers on how to develop and retain young talent in the country.
