Joana Macedo
With over 20 years' experience in the field of Work and Organisational Psychology, Joana Macedo has been a Partner at SHL Portugal since 2019.
Biography
She joined the team in 2004 as a consultant, taking on the position of Managing Consultant in 2011, with responsibility for organisational development projects, talent management and people assessment.
With a degree in Social, Work and Organisational Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Lisbon, she complemented her training with international programmes in the areas of People Analytics (University of Cambridge Business School) and Behavioural Science (iNudgeyou, Copenhagen). She is also certified as SHL Accredited Trainer e Sales Academy Programme.
Throughout his career, he has led projects in job description and analysis, skills profiling, motivation diagnosis, organisational climate and culture, appraisal systems and performance management, and People Analytics. At the same time, he has participated in the development of methodologies and instruments for evaluating and developing people, as part of teams of Research & Development from SHL.
He is also a lecturer at the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG), where he teaches the Human Resources Management course, and at the Postgraduate Course in Strategic HR Practices, covering topics such as People Analytics, Performance Appraisal and Career and Remuneration Management.
