The white paper Home Sweet Office explores the impact of the mass adoption of remote working in Portugal, analysing how this change influences people, companies, housing and the future of cities. Based on 1,341 individuals and 124 organisations, the study reveals a strong appreciation of the hybrid model, highlighting gains in balance and productivity, but also challenges such as isolation, overload and unequal access to suitable conditions.
It also identifies the critical skills for working remotely and presents practical recommendations for organisations and employees at a time when teleworking is beginning to reconfigure professional, residential and urban spaces.
