Performance evaluation is a critical and structural process in organisations.
It aims to align the business strategy with the contributions of the team and each employee, in order to align the behaviours necessary for collective success. It is a process in which other HR processes are anchored, such as variable remuneration, career development, the feedback and development.
Despite its importance, performance appraisal is a process that is disliked by many: because of the need to give feedback negative and by differentiating performance, with those who are less well appraised always being dissatisfied. This course will address the difficulties inherent in performance appraisal, the resistance of appraisees and appraisers, and ways of overcoming them.
During the 14-hour training, we will go through the various approaches to performance appraisal in order to select the most appropriate methodology for each organisation's culture and strategy. Participants will be equipped with a reference framework of the advantages and disadvantages of the various methodologies and a set of good practices for implementing or reviewing performance appraisal in their organisation.
